How to make a wish come true

A wish is a plan you have not dated yet. That is not a knock on wishing — it is where every plan starts. The wishes that come true tend to share one thing: someone told another person about them.

Saying a wish out loud, or writing it on a list someone else can see, turns it from a private hope into a shared project. That is the whole idea behind a wishlist.
